Circularly Polarized Luminescence (CPL) Induced by an External Magnetic Field: Magnetic CPL (MCPL)

چکیده

In general, circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) is generated by a chiral luminophore, that is, structures and packing styles are essential for organic organometallic luminophores to exhibit CPL properties. However, it difficult introduce structure into inorganic metal-cluster luminophores. this minireview, we have reported magnetic (MCPL) systems. Upon the application of an external field, achiral racemic too can MCPL. Such MCPL systems beneficial developing versatile from various luminophores, which could prospectively cover wide range UV-visible-near-infrared regions.
